WHAT WE’VE BUILT TOGETHER: COUNTING OUR BLESSINGS AND MOVING FORWARD 2026 Disciple Maker Index Parish Results
(July 26, 2026, Bulletin)
In August 2023, we partnered with the Catholic Leadership Institute (CLI) to embark on a visionary 3-year pastoral planning initiative known as The Next Generation Parish. Thanks to your faith, prayers, and dedication, we have fully implemented our pastoral priority plan, and after receiving data and personal feedback, it is time to celebrate the incredible fruits of this journey with you!
By looking closely at our data—including the Disciple Maker Index (DMI) Survey results from 2022 and 2026, reports from CLI, and our internal metrics—we have a clear picture of our blessings and our opportunities. Over the next six weeks, we will look at what we have achieved, how we have grown, and where God is leading us.
Here is what you can look forward to:
Celebration of Our Successes: Every week, we will highlight specific areas of growth and milestone achievements from the last three years.
Clear Roadmaps: We will demystify the data so it is easy to follow, showing exactly how our community is aligning for the future.
A Vision for the Next 3 Years: This is not just a look back, but a launchpad for our next chapter of mission together.
SAVE THE DATE: A Special Evening of Celebration & Engagement: Come enjoy fellowship, hear the ultimate results of our collective efforts, and—most importantly—lend your voice and input as we officially launch our next three-year Parish Pastoral Plan. Mark your calendar now for Saturday, September 12at 5:30 PM.FOUR FACTORS OF A THRIVING PARISH

STRENGTHS OF THE PARISH
The DMI Survey provides us information on what respondents saw as strengths of the parish. Specifically, key successes include:
The percentage of those who agree with the statement “I would recommend my parish” increased from 28% to 54%.
We have created an increased presence of representation of the parish and its ministries at community events.
Sunday Mass attendance has increased by over 37%.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH
Areas for our attention moving forward include:
Creating an updated pastoral priority plan for the next 3 years.
Preparing the new Pastoral Council members to have leadership roles in this new plan.
Continuing to recruit, train, and retain volunteers to move the parish mission forward.
We have seen immense growth since the launch of The Next Generation Parish in 2023. Looking at the progress the team has made, specifically when evaluating the pastoral priority plan, there is much to celebrate and thank God for.
