EDGE is a Catholic youth ministry designed specifically for youth in grades 6-8. It provides a safe and fun place for youth to find a solid Catholic community, to get answers to their questions about faith, and to experience Jesus in a profound and personal way.
The purpose of EDGE is to:
Anyone in grades 6-8 is welcome to attend EDGE Nights. We welcome everyone from Archangel Gabriel Parish and Archangel Gabriel School, along with anyone from the surrounding community.- Help your child have a fun time at church!
- Teach them why being Catholic is so important!
- Show them how to pray and have a personal relationship with Jesus!

EDGE 2025-2026 Calendar

EDGE takes place mid-September through mid-May from 6:30-8:00 PM in the Youth Ministry Center (former Saint Malachy gymnasium). *During the month of May, eighth graders attend Life Teen in lieu of EDGE.
The Saint Maria Goretti (SMG) section is held on the first & third Wednesday of the month.
The Saint Carlo Acutis (SCA) section is held on second & fourth Wednesday of the month.
Please note: teens may only attend the section for which they are registered and cannot switch back and forth.Date Edge Night Topic September 10 Meet & Greet All EDGE participants and their parents are invited to come meet the Core Team. EDGE Core Team
The Core Team is a group of adults who make EDGE possible by taking an active role in being present to and in relationship with our middle school youth. Core Team members volunteer much of their time in creating EDGE Nights and leading youth closer to our Lord by walking with them in their faith journey. Time commitment is about 2-3 hours a week.
