MISSION:  To provide food to the needy in the community

WHAT THE FOOD PANTRY DOES:

• Distributes food to clients on a monthly basis.
• Provides gift cards to clients at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter
• Assists the Archangel Gabriel Saint Vincent de Paul Society and other Saint Vincent de Paul societies
• Assists the Little Sisters of the Poor

The AGP Food Pantry sponsors a Feed the Needy Food Drive during the first weekend of each month. 

The next Feed the Needy Food Drive collection will be on June 6 & 7.

SPECIAL REQUEST FOR JUNE AND GOOD NEWS
It has been an exciting and busy time for the AGP Food Pantry volunteers as we move the pantry from the Holy Trinity Campus to our new location at the St. Malachy Campus. This move gives the pantry more space and more opportunities to serve our clients.

Your generous donations have put the pantry in the unique position of having a temporary surplus of food and pantry supplies. That’s why, for the June Feed the Needy collection only, we are requesting that you consider making a monetary donation to the pantry, instead of donating non-perishable food and supplies.

Monetary donations can be placed in the collection basket during Mass in an envelope marked “Food Pantry.” Checks should be made out to “Archangel Gabriel Food Pantry.” While we are requesting monetary donations this month, the bins will still be in entrances of all AGP churches to collect item donations on June 6 & 7. Donations can also be dropped off at the Parish Office, Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. 

Please remember, we cannot distribute expired items.
