Thanks to all who attended the 2nd Annual Women’s Day Out event hosted by the AGP Ladies Of Charity. A special thank you to Fr. Carmen D’Amico for his very inspirational message. We had 54 women gather to enjoy a wonderful tea party, which included prayer, faith bingo, praise and worship music, a spiritual talk, praying of the Rosary, and shopping from various vendors.

Our talented ministry members have been busy making fleece tie blankets, lap blankets, crochet and knitted adult and baby blankets, and shawls. We have given nearly 400 of these items to our neighbors at ARA dialysis Kennedy, Heritage Valley Senior Living, AHN and UPMC Cancer Centers in Robinson and Moon Townships, Catholic Charities, Lifeline, FOR Family Foundations, Leo Meyer Manor, Pleasant Valley Men's Shelter, The Women’s Shelter of Pittsburgh, Victoria Manor Assisted Living Facility, and some of our parishioners.

This season of Lent gives us special opportunities to reach out in prayer and compassion to those who need our understanding.  

The Ladies of Charity are hosting a Blood Drive on March 17 from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM in the Archangel Gabriel School Cafeteria.

The Respect Life group thanks all who are participating in the Living Rosary - praying at least one decade for a pro-life intention. Together, we have 94 Rosaries being said daily during Lent.

The Baby Bottle collection in October was a huge success, raising $9,785.69 for Choices Pregnancy Services.

The most recent Edge Night consisted of a Holy Hour in Adoration and the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation! We discussed how when we reconcile with God by participating in this sacrament, we take steps closer to Him and to Heaven.

The Ladies of Charity of Archangel Gabriel Parish are very grateful for your generous response to our Christmas project. You have shared the love of Jesus with the 492 recipients of the gifts you selected from each person’s wish list.

On Friday, November 17, 15 adults and 30 children gathered at Holy Trinity Church for Eucharistic Adoration for Children & Families.

Thank you to everyone who donated to our sock drive in September. Thanks to you, we will be donating 2,436 pairs of socks, 4 pairs of women’s slippers, 3 pairs of gloves, and 14 pairs of underwear to Light of Life Mission

There was a great turnout for the PA March for Life on Monday, October 16.

As most of you have probably heard by now, I had two significant losses in my life in September. My mother, Barbara, went to her eternal reward on September 12, and my wife, Chris, went to meet the Lord on September 25.

Doug and Cyndi are lifelong members of Archangel Gabriel Parish’s legacy churches, Cyndi at Holy Trinity Church, and Doug at St. Malachy Church, where they attended their respective grade schools and received all of their blessed sacraments.

This past week at EDGE, we learned about different methods to avoid temptation and that we are all created “good” and need to have mercy on ourselves and others...

The fall extension of the Farmers Market continues through October 23 (3:00 - 6:00 PM), with a limited number of vendors offering fresh products perfect for the cooler weather.

No matter how hard we try to avoid it, we have all experienced broken trust by someone close to us. It can make it challenging to trust in a loving Father.
